Dr. Kathleen Linn is an Associate Professor in Small Animal Clinical Sciences at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Saskatchewan, and a board-certified veterinary surgeon (Diplomate, ACVS). She earned her DVM from Cornell University (1984), completed an internship at Colorado State University (CSU), and practiced clinically before returning to CSU for surgical residency and MS. She taught at multiple institutions before joining WCVM in 2003.
Her research focuses on canine/avian orthopedics, minimally invasive surgery, and soft tissue reconstruction. Publication themes include surgical technique development (45%), anatomical studies (20%), and congenital condition management (15%). Recent work emphasizes evidence-based surgical protocols and orthopedic innovations.
