Katherine Morton

Professor Katherine Morton holds a Professorship in Global Affairs at the Schwarzman College, Tsinghua University, and serves as a Professorial Research Associate at SOAS University of London. Her expertise focuses on China’s role in global leadership, including economic, security, humanitarian, and environmental governance. She is completing a book examining China’s contributions to these areas of global governance.

Her research interests span China and International Relations, Global Governance, and Environment and Climate Change. She also sits on the Board of Directors of the Great Britain China Centre, where she develops training programs for MPs, civil servants, and business executives on China capabilities.
