Katherine Curchin

Katherine Curchin is a Senior Lecturer in Social Policy at the Australian National University (ANU), affiliated with the School of Philosophy and the Centre for Social Policy Research (POLIS). She holds an honorary position at the ANU School of Philosophy and has contributed to international theorizing on Indigenous development and welfare state dynamics. Her research focuses on welfare conditionality, trauma-informed social services, and the ethics of marketization, with a particular emphasis on marginalized populations and policy design.
