Katherine Brown

Dr. Katherine Brown is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Gynecologic Subspecialties at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She also serves as the Medical Director of the Black Wellness Clinic, Co-Director of the Black Women's Health and Livelihood Initiative, and holds the Fishbon Endowed Chair in Family Planning and Abortion at UCSF Mount Zion.

Research Interests:

Dr. Brown is a general obstetrician-gynecologist and fellowship-trained in family planning. She provides full-scope reproductive healthcare and is a passionate advocate for reproductive health, choice, and justice. Her research focuses on exploring and improving the reproductive health experiences of Black women.
