Kate Farley is a Course Leader and Associate Professor in the Department of Textile Design at Norwich University of the Arts. Her teaching focuses on drawing, printed textile design, contextual studies, and professional practice. She leads strategic initiatives for the Textile Design discipline, overseeing staff and academic processes. Her research explores visual communication and narrative-driven surface design, with a specialization in pattern creation for interiors, fashion, and public spaces.
Professional collaborations include projects with Transport for London, Barbican Centre, and David Mellor Design.
