Dr. Kate Duhig is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer in the Division of Cardiovascular Sciences at the University of Manchester. Her work focuses on maternal health, particularly pre-eclampsia and its long-term cardiovascular implications. She has contributed to major clinical trials such as the PARROT-2 trial evaluating PlGF-based testing for preterm preeclampsia diagnosis. Her research also explores antenatal corticosteroid effects via the Co-OPT consortium and clinician knowledge gaps in postpartum cardiovascular risk assessment.
