Professor Karolina Follis is a SFHEA Professor in Politics and Society at Lancaster University's Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS). Her work centers on borders, citizenship, and human rights within Europe and beyond, particularly focusing on migrant rights, securitization, and healthcare entitlements. She leads a Wellcome Trust-funded initiative, Doctors within Borders, and has conducted fieldwork in Poland and Ukraine. Current teaching contributions include POLI.100 and PPR.366 (Conspiracy Theories in Politics and Society), though some courses are temporarily unavailable.
Her research interests span Eastern/Central European politics, debates on liberal democracy, EU policies, and memory politics.
