Prof. Regina Kreide is a Full Professor of Political Theory and History of Ideas at Justus-Liebig-University Giessen (since 2010), serving as Deputy Spokesperson of the CRC 138 and Head of subproject C10 focused on minority protection and securitization. She holds a PhD in Political Science (2000, Goethe University Frankfurt) and has held visiting professorships globally, including at the University of Washington and UAM Mexico City. Her research spans political theory, global justice, democracy, human rights, and securitization. She co-edits the Zeitschrift für Menschenrechte and leads initiatives like the DAAD ISAP Program with Universidad de Antioquia. She is affiliated with the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy, ZEU, and GCSC.
