Karin Stadelmann

Karin Stadelmann is a Professor and Head of the Institute for Social Pedagogy and Social Policy at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (Faculty of Social Work). She concurrently serves as a member of the Lucerne Cantonal Council since 2021, President of the Education, Training and Culture Commission (EBKK), and Party President of the Center Canton of Lucerne. Her academic work focuses on aging well, strategic age policy, health promotion, and lifelong education. She lectures widely on palliative care and holds a Dr. phil. in Educational Science (University of Zurich) and a Master’s in Education.
