Dr. Karen Boardman is the Head of Early Years Education and a Visiting Fellow at Forward As One Trust, focusing on early literacy, policy, and pedagogy for under-threes. Her research interests span child development, play, inclusion, and babies' rights. She holds an EdD from the University of Sheffield (2017) and is a Senior Fellow of the HEA, advocating for ECEC through roles like Chair of TACTYC and membership in BERA and EECERA.
