Kajsa Johansson is an Assistant Professor at Linköping University's Department of Health, Medicine and Care (HMV), specializing in physiotherapy. She serves as course manager and examiner for advanced physiotherapy courses and leads the Exercise and Sports Injuries Unit at Region Östergötland.

Her research focuses on clinical reasoning in physiotherapy, musculoskeletal pain management, and sports injury prevention, particularly concussion prevention in elite handball. She leads the PainSMART project evaluating digital tools for primary care pain management and co-leads the SWEdish CONcussion study (SWECON) in collaboration with the Swedish Handball Association.
Recent research highlights include systematic reviews on exercise interventions for concussion prevention and phenomenographic studies analyzing clinical reasoning development in entry-level physiotherapy students. She actively participates in national handball medical networks and the Swedish Sports Concussion Society.
