KC Chan

KC Chan is a Senior Lecturer in Information Systems at the University of Southern Queensland's School of Business, with additional affiliations as Honorary Senior Research Fellow (La Trobe University) and Visiting Fellow (UNSW). Holding BASc/MASc from University of Toronto and PhD from UNSW, his industry experience includes founding technology startups before returning to academia.

Research focuses on FinTech and Cyber Security applications of AI/ML, with 100+ publications spanning data engineering, knowledge discovery, and information systems. Certified engineer (MIEAust CPEng) with professional memberships in IEEE and ACM. Teaches cloud security and information systems projects at postgraduate level.
