David Ross

Dr. David Ross is an Associate Professor at the University of Queensland's School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, affiliated with the UQ Cyber group. With 30 years in computer technology and 20+ years specializing in cybersecurity, he holds multiple engineering certifications and board directorships.

Research Focus: His expertise spans cybersecurity frameworks for autonomous vehicles, industrial control systems (IACS), cloud computing, wireless networks, and critical infrastructure. He actively contributes to international standards as co-editor of ISO/IEC 27071:2023 and Australia's Head of Delegation to ISO/IEC committees.
