K.A. Holt

K.A. Holt is a faculty member at the Vermont College of Fine Arts (VCFA) in the MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults (WCYA) program. With a BA in Art History from the University of Texas at Austin, Holt focuses on crafting stories that emphasize inclusivity and representation for both children and adults. Her works include award-winning middle-grade novels-in-verse like Ben Bee and the Teacher Griefer, Redwood & Ponytail, and House Arrest, as well as prose novels such as From You to Me and Gnome-a-geddon, and the picture book I Wonder, illustrated by Kenard Pak.
