Jürgen Scheffran

Prof. Dr. Jürgen Scheffran is a Professor of Integrative Geography at the University of Hamburg and leads the Working Group Integrative Geography. His research focuses on the interaction between humans, society, and environment, particularly climate change security risks, resource conflicts, and renewable energy transitions. He specializes in modeling complex systems and technology assessment.
