Jörg Breiding

Jörg Breiding is a Professor for Conducting/Choral Conducting at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. Born in Hanover, he studied school music, vocal pedagogy, and German studies at Hanover's Hochschule für Musik und Theater. He later expanded his conducting training under Prof. Gerd Müller-Lorenz and Prof. Heinz Hennig. Since 2005, he has served as a professor at Folkwang University, where he founded and directs the Folkwang Konzertchor and Folkwang Vokalensemble.
