Prof. Benedikt Haag is a Professor of Choral Conducting and Dean of Studies at the University of Music and Theatre Würzburg. Born in 1987, he trained with the Windsbacher Knabenchor and studied at the Munich Hochschule für Musik und Theater under Prof. Michael Gläser. He leads the Munich Motet Choir and Amadeus Choir Neuendettelsau, collaborating with orchestras like the Munich Symphony and Freiburger Barockorchester. His projects include the crossover CD Baroque in blue and the Opus Klassik-nominated Denn es will Abend werden. He also advises renowned conductors and teaches conducting at the university.
