János Pach is a Hungarian academic currently holding the Chair of Combinatorial Geometry at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) since 2008. He has been a Research Advisor at the Rényi Institute of Mathematics, ELKH, since 1995, with additional roles as Professor of Computer Science at City College, City University of New York (2003–2008), and Research Professor at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences (1986–2008). His work bridges combinatorics, discrete geometry, and computational complexity.
