Justin M. Pelletier

Justin M. Pelletier is a Professor and Director of the GCI Cyber Range and Training Center at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) within the Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in the Department of Cyber Security and leads security assessments for critical infrastructure and national defense partners. He founded the NSA-funded National Consortium for Cyber Governance, Risk, and Compliance.

Pelletier's research spans cybersecurity, penetration testing, security economics, and critical infrastructure protection. His work includes analyzing ransomware responses in nuclear power plants, blockchain attack taxonomies, and medical device vulnerabilities.

His recent publications focus on cyber-physical systems, social engineering, voting infrastructure security, and business intelligence integration. He also explores e-learning user experiences and attacker behavior modeling.

• Professor Pelletier has authored over three dozen articles, book chapters, and patents.

He is a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve, a combat veteran, and a lay member of the Dominican Order. He lives with his wife and five children.
