Billy Brumley is a Professor in the Department of Cybersecurity at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), holding the Kevin O’Sullivan Endowed Professorship in Cybersecurity. He serves as Director of Research at the Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences (GCI). His research focuses on system security, cryptography engineering, and side-channel analysis. Brumley earned his Sc.D. from Aalto University (2012) and previously held a Professorship at Tampere University (Finland) for a decade.
