Julius Esunge

Julius Esunge is a Professor of Mathematics at the University of Mary Washington, where he teaches and conducts research. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Louisiana State University, with M.S. degrees from Louisiana State University and Lehigh University, and a B.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Buea, Cameroon. Esunge is actively engaged in academic service, including organizing the colloquium series 'The Life of a Mathematician' as department chair and serving as a judge for undergraduate research poster sessions at the Joint Mathematics Meetings.

His research focuses on applied mathematics, particularly in financial mathematics and stochastic processes, as evidenced by his presentation on 'Risk Minimization in Lévy Markets Using g-expectation' at the 8th World Congress in Probability and Statistics. He has received the prestigious Fulbright U.S. Scholar Grant for teaching and research at the University of Buea in Cameroon.
