Julie Weast is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Cincinnati. She holds a PhD in Psychology from the same institution (2013). Her research focuses on perception, affordance perception, and kinematic information analysis, particularly in contexts involving athletic expertise and interpersonal perception. Though not currently active in research, her work has explored how movement patterns and physical capabilities are perceived in others. She has authored/co-authored peer-reviewed publications in journals like Quarterly Journal of Experimental Psychology and Psychonomic Bulletin and Review, and co-edited conference proceedings such as Studies in Perception and Action XIII.
