Alen Hajnal

Dr. Alen Hajnal is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Southern Mississippi. His research focuses on perception, action, and ecological psychology, utilizing virtual reality and motion capture systems to study affordances and time series analysis of perceptual, motor, and physiological processes. He contributes to journals such as Journal of Experimental Psychology: Human Perception and Performance and Ecological Psychology through publications and peer review.

• PhD in Ecological Psychology from University of Connecticut (2007)

Dr. Hajnal teaches courses including Sensation and Perception (PSY420), Cognitive Psychology (PSY425), and MATLAB Programming for Behavioral Scientists (PSY783). He is affiliated with the International Society for Ecological Psychology, Psychonomic Society, and Vision Science Society.
