Julie Pearson

Dr. Julie Pearson is a Senior Lecturer and Course Lead for the Primary PGCE (PE Specialism) at St Mary’s University. Her academic career focuses on enhancing physical education (PE) pedagogy, teacher development, and action research methodologies. Prior to academia, she held roles as a secondary PE teacher, Head of Upper School, and Key Stage coordinator. Dr. Pearson designs and delivers undergraduate and postgraduate modules in primary PE, mentors students in their research, and supports paraprofessional education for coaches and managers.
