Karen Fox is a Senior Lecturer in Primary English at St Mary's University, serving as Subject Lead for Student Experience in the School of Education. She teaches on BA Hons Primary Education with QTS, PGCE programs, and work-based routes. Her roles include link tutor in partnership schools and personal tutor for undergraduate students.
Education: MA Professional Studies in Education (Kingston University, 2004); BSc Econ (Hons) Development Studies; PGCE Primary Education. Current doctoral research at St Mary's focuses on children’s self-representation in literature. Professional accreditations include FHEA.
Research interests center on identity exploration through literature, social justice in education, and teacher writer identity.
