Julian Culp is an Associate Professor of Philosophy and Fellow of the Center for Critical Democracy Studies at The American University of Paris. He holds a Habilitation (2018) and PhD (2012) in Philosophy from Goethe University Frankfurt. Previously, he lectured at Goethe University and served as a visiting professor at the University of Graz. His research focuses on global justice, democratic education, and political theory, emphasizing normative frameworks for transnational citizenship and educational equity. He co-edits the Cambridge Handbook of Democratic Education and the journal Analyse & Kritik.
