Julia Winston

Julia Winston (she/her) is a Lecturer at the Center for Integrated Design, University of Texas at Austin. She specializes in facilitation, mindfulness, and organizational development, leveraging over 20 years of experience in leadership coaching, entrepreneurship, and culture-building. Her work spans startups, nonprofits, universities, and financial institutions.

As a thought leader, she co-hosts the Refamulating podcast exploring modern family dynamics and founded The Rainbow Letters to document global LGBTQIA+ family narratives. She also runs the Facilitator Forum podcast, spotlighting industry practitioners. Julia integrates yoga and meditation principles into her teaching and consulting.

Recent initiatives include launching the first season of Refamulating in 2024, with a second season planned for November 2024. She trains facilitators globally and collaborates with teams to design transformative experiences for personal and organizational growth.
