Julia Brown

Dr. Julia Brown is an Associate Professor in Sustainable Environmental Management at the University of Portsmouth’s School of the Environment and Life Sciences. Her 15 most recent publications span equid welfare, urban sustainability, NGO programming, and water governance, with fieldwork in Uganda, Mexico, and the UK. As a PhD supervisor, she mentors students in water governance and animal welfare.
