Chad Staddon

Chad Staddon is a Professor of Resource Economics and Policy at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol), based in the Department of Geography and Environmental Management within the Faculty of Environment & Technology. His research focuses on water security, sustainable resource management, and political ecology, with global collaborations in countries like Uganda, India, and across Europe and the Americas.

• Education: PhD in Economic Geography from the University of Kentucky (1996), Master's and undergraduate degrees from Simon Fraser University and the University of British Columbia.
• Research: Over 100 publications on sustainable water systems, household water insecurity, and community-based resource management. Current projects include studies on modular water infrastructure in developing regions and domestic water/energy usage in the UK.

Collaborations include Bristol Water, Thames Water, and international institutions. His work emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches to address water governance challenges and climate resilience.
