Judith Szapor

Dr. Judith Szapor is Associate Professor of History at McGill University, specializing in modern Hungarian social and gender history. Her research examines women's movements, intellectual migration, and Jewish family experiences in Central Europe from the late 19th to mid-20th century.

Monographs analyze Hungarian feminist activism after WWI and the transnational biography of historian Laura Polanyi Stricker. Current projects investigate academic antisemitism and Jewish family strategies in interwar Hungary.
