Joyce Tyldesley is a Professor of Egyptology at the University of Manchester's Department of Classics, Ancient History & Egyptology, within the School of Arts, Languages and Cultures. She specializes in teaching Egyptology through online programs, including the Certificate, Diploma, and Master's degrees, alongside short courses. Her research focuses on distance-learning pedagogy, Egyptian historiography, and women's roles in ancient Egypt.
