Joshua Trubowitz

Joshua Trubowitz is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Notre Dame. He specializes in Ancient Greek and Roman Philosophy, with a focus on Plato and Aristotle, and has expertise in ethics and philosophy of mind. He earned his Ph.D. in 2023 from the University of Chicago (Department of Philosophy and John U. Nef Committee on Social Thought) and holds a B.A. from the same institution. His dissertation explores "Spontaneous Activity and Truthfulness in Aristotle’s Theory of Perception."
