Joshua Javier Guzmán is an Associate Professor in the Department of Gender Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he also serves as Vice Chair of Graduate Affairs and Director of the LGBTQ Studies Program. His academic work bridges performance studies, queer theory, and Latina/o cultural studies, focusing on the intersection of aesthetics, activism, and resistance.
