Dr. Joshua Durbin serves as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Queen’s University and Kingston Health Sciences Centre. He is the Director and Clinical Lead of the Queen’s University Pulmonary Hypertension Program. Dr. Durbin holds a Master of Science in Medical Biophysics from the University of Toronto and completed medical training at Queen’s University, including residencies in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, as well as a Level III Echocardiography fellowship. He also pursued advanced training in pulmonary hypertension at the University of Ottawa.
His clinical and research interests focus on cardiac imaging, clinical cardiology, and the management of pulmonary hypertension and heart failure. He leads multidisciplinary efforts in advanced cardiovascular diagnostics and patient care through the Pulmonary Hypertension Program.
Dr. Durbin’s expertise bridges clinical practice and academic medicine, emphasizing translational research in cardiovascular imaging and disease management strategies.
