Josh Cerretti

Josh Cerretti is an Associate Professor at Western Washington University with expertise in modern U.S. history, focusing on intersections of sexuality, race, and gender. He earned a PhD in Global Gender Studies from the University at Buffalo in 2014 and holds advanced degrees from the UN-mandated University for Peace (M.A., 2007) and Trinity College (B.A., 2006).

• Research spans militarization, LGBTQ+ activism, peacebuilding, and marginalized histories in the Pacific Northwest and U.S. urban contexts.
