Joscha Abels is a postdoctoral research associate and lecturer at the Department of Political Economy, University of Tübingen. His work focuses on the intersection of global geoeconomic competition, European Union political economy, and infrastructural policy. He leads the DFG-funded project EUInfra, analyzing EU strategies in globalization, and previously contributed to the Excellence Strategy-funded Infrastructures and Global Ordering (IGLO). He holds a summa cum laude PhD in Political Science from Tübingen, with prior studies in political science, economics, and international relations at Mannheim and Oslo.
