Prof. Dr. Gabriele Abels is a Full Professor of Comparative Politics and European Integration at the Institute of Political Science, University of Tübingen, within the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences. She has held a Jean Monnet Chair since 2011 and served as Director of the Jean Monnet Center of Excellence PRRIDE (2015–2018) and President of the German Political Science Association (DVPW) from 2012 to 2015. Since 2021, she has been a member of the Constitutional Court of Baden-Württemberg, underscoring her significant role in public and academic life.
