Jorge Manuel Padrão Ribeiro

Jorge Manuel Padrão Ribeiro is a Researcher at the Center for Textile Science and Technology (2C2T) at the University of Minho, Portugal. He holds a PhD in Chemical and Biological Engineering (2014) and a degree in Applied Biology (2006) from the same institution. His multidisciplinary expertise spans antimicrobial textiles, biocompatible polymers, bacterial cellulose, plasma technology, and environmental biotechnology.

Leadership and Teaching: He directs the Advanced Analysis of Textile Materials and Microbiology and Animal Cell Culture laboratories. He lectures on Bioactive Textiles, Knitting Technologies, and Dyeing Processes at both undergraduate and MSc levels.
