Jordan Vinyard is the Dean of the School of Visual and Performing Arts at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma, a Professor of Art, and Director of Art Wrecker, an experimental art space focused on socially engaged and dialogical practices. She has been with USAO since 2013. Her work critiques human-technology interactions through kinetic sculptures, installations, and performances.
Education: MFA from Florida State University.
Research interests include contemporary art forms that challenge societal norms, particularly through technology-driven and participatory art. Her work has been exhibited globally, including at the International Symposium of Electronic Arts (Dubai), Czong Institute for Contemporary Art (South Korea), and Art Basel (Miami), with upcoming shows in Estonia and Tulsa.
