Jongpil Cheon

Jongpil Cheon is a Professor in the Instructional Technology program at Texas Tech University's College of Education. He holds a Doctorate in Instructional Design and Technology from the University of Memphis, following degrees from Gyeongin National University of Education in Korea. His research focuses on immersive online learning environments, multimedia learning, mobile learning, technology adoption, and computational thinking. His work has been published in journals like Computers and Education and Universal Access in the Information Society. Dr. Cheon has contributed to understanding factors influencing technology adoption among visually impaired individuals and the design of effective instructional strategies for computational thinking. His recent studies explore debugging challenges in block-based programming and the cognitive impacts of multimedia interfaces.
