Jonathan Wyner

Jonathan Wyner is an Associate Professor in the Department of Music Production and Engineering at Berklee College of Music and the owner of M Works Mastering Studios in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He specializes in music production and mastering, having collaborated with renowned artists such as James Taylor, David Bowie, Aerosmith, and Miles Davis. His career highlights include mastering the first interactive CD game 'Play It by Ear,' the historic recording of the opera 'Madame Butterfly' (1912), and a record-breaking 80-minute CD for Razormaid Records.

Wyner holds a Bachelor's degree in French horn and composition from Vassar College. He teaches courses in advanced audio/mastering techniques and contributes to online education through Berklee's platform, offering instruction in music production and engineering.

His research and professional practice focus on cutting-edge audio technologies and their application in mastering and production. Beyond academia, his studio, M Works Mastering, serves as a hub for innovative audio solutions.
