Jason Stokes

Jason Stokes is an Assistant Professor of Music Production and Engineering at Berklee College of Music. A 2009 alumnus of the institution, he previously worked in the President’s Office of Educational Outreach before transitioning to academia. As a multi-instrumentalist (guitar, bass, drums, piano) and vocalist, he has extensive industry experience as a producer/engineer for major artists including India.Arie, Outkast, R.E.M., and Mariah Carey, alongside post-production work at studios like Skywalker Ranch. His career highlights include Grammy nominations in 2001 and 2002, and he remains active in Berklee’s outreach initiatives, co-founding the Berklee in Atlanta Spring Break program.
