Jonathan Seiberlich

Jonathan Seiberlich is a tuba performer, educator, and creative artist currently affiliated with the San Francisco Conservatory of Music (SFCM) Pre-College Division and Sonoma State University, where he serves as Tuba Faculty. His career spans performance, composition, and music production, bridging classical, jazz, and contemporary genres.

Seiberlich is a cornerstone of the San Francisco Bay Area’s music scene, performing with ensembles such as the San Francisco Symphony, Nomad Session Wind Octet, and Jazz Mafia collective. His artistic work blends New Orleans brass band traditions, classical composition, and improvisation. Since 2015, he has produced albums under the name Jensen Engineering, collaborating with Bay Area musicians across genres.

Personal highlights include his role in the Jonathan Seiberlich Quintet, which focuses on original instrumental music. He has also studied with notable tuba mentors like Peter Wahrhaftig, Jim Self, and Roger Bobo.
