Jonathan O'Hara

Jonathan O'Hara is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at Southern Connecticut State University. His research focuses on the intersection of American Republicanism, Hamiltonian thought, and political development, with particular attention to aristocratic and Confederate influences, hierarchy, deference, and administrative reform in late 19th-century America.

His scholarly work includes publications such as "American Republicanism and the Fin de Siecle Imperialism Debate," "Aristocratic and Confederate Republicanism in Hamiltonian Thought and Practice," and "Late 19th Century Administrative Reform in America: Re-articulating Hamiltonian Thought."
