Jonathan Lipson is a Professor of Law and holds the Harold E. Kohn Chair at Temple University’s Beasley School of Law. He teaches courses on Contracts, Bankruptcy, Corporations, and Commercial Law, among others. His research focuses on corporate governance, restructuring, and contracting practices, with publications in top law reviews such as UCLA Law Review and Boston University Law Review. His work is frequently cited by U.S. Supreme Court and appellate courts, and he co-authored the leading casebook *Contracts Law in Action*.
He has served as an expert in complex corporate reorganizations, including Enron Corp., and is active in professional organizations like the American Bar Association (ABA).
