Jonathan J. Fleming

Jonathan J. Fleming is a Senior Lecturer at the MIT Sloan School of Management since 2002. He holds an MPA from Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School and a BA from UC Berkeley. His career spans over 30 years in founding, financing, and operating life science companies globally.

He has raised over $1 billion for early-stage funds, resulting in 200+ investments with 20 IPOs and 40 M&A events. Fleming served as CEO of a neuroscience company, chaired numerous boards, and directed public/private companies. He collaborated with seven Nobel laureates to commercialize their research. His work intersects entrepreneurship, strategic management, and policy sciences through MIT's Martin Trust Center for Entrepreneurship.
