Jonathan Brown

Jonathan Brown is a Senior Lecturer and Course Leader for Media Production and Journalism at York St John University's School of the Arts. With 25 years of national media experience, he previously worked at The Independent and Press Association, covering major events like 9/11, general elections, and international assignments. His teaching focuses on media law, public affairs, and multimedia newsroom practice. He is pursuing an EdD at Sheffield University, researching media discourses in higher education and pedagogies for creative industries.
