Jon Mason

Associate Professor Jon Mason holds an academic position at Charles Darwin University (CDU) within the College of Indigenous Futures, Education. His primary role involves lecturing and researching the intersection of digital technology and education. He has been affiliated with CDU since 2012, initially serving as Director of e-Learning for the Centre for School Leadership, Learning and Development. Mason also holds adjunct roles at Korea National Open University and East China Normal University, reflecting his commitment to international collaboration. He currently chairs ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC36, an international standards committee, and participates in leadership roles within the Asia Pacific Society for Computers in Education (APSCE) and the Australian Computer Society. His research focuses on digital technology integration in education, question formulation methodologies, and the application of wisdom in educational practices.
