Jon Gettman

Dr. Jon Gettman serves as Department Chair and Associate Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Shenandoah University's College of Arts and Sciences, a position he has held since 2009. He holds a PhD from George Mason University, an MS from American University, and a BA from Catholic University.

Research Focus: His expertise encompasses drugs and crime relationships, drug policy analysis, and economic crime manifestations including organized crime networks and white-collar criminality. His work emphasizes both crime prevention strategies and the preservation of just societies.
