Jon Clements

Dr. Jon Clements is a Professor of Music at Arkansas Tech University, where he teaches applied voice, vocal pedagogy, and ear training. He also directs the ATU Opera Workshop, University Men’s Ensemble, and Concert Chorale.

Education:

• B.A. in Music Education from Luther College
• M.M. from University of Missouri-Columbia
• D.M. from Florida State University

Dr. Clements is an active performer, having sung roles ranging from Papageno in opera to Billy Bigelow in musical theater. Recent performances include bass soloist roles in Haydn’s The Seasons, Handel’s Judas Maccabaeus, and Mozart’s Requiem.
